Wer einen Garten oder einfach einen grünen Daumen hat, der freut sich bestimmt auf den Mai. Er ist ebenfalls unter dem Namen Blumenmond bekannt, da in dieser Zeit in unseren Breitengraden die meisten Pflanzen blühen. Sinnbild dafür sind die nach ihm benannten Maiglöckchen, welche nun ihre wunderhübschen Blüten emporstrecken.
